Founded in 1970 in response to St. Croix’s need for a local high quality clinical laboratory focused on providing personalized services to small and mid-size medical practices, treatment providers, employers, health care institutions, and other organizations throughout the territory, Clinical Laboratory was established.
Clinical Laboratory is a mid-size laboratory that provides services to doctors, health care institutions and walk-in patients at two locations in St.Croix. All of our patients and doctors have real time access to their test result via our secure and confidential patient portals.
Our laboratory is CLIA certified and provides collection and testing services in a state of the art facility using modern equipment to ensure that our clients receive the most accurate results possible. Our equipment is continually upgraded to improve the quality of test processing and maintain the cutting edge that is expected by our clients and patients at Clinical Laboratory.
Our clean, modern facility is equipped with the most sophisticated medical technologies on the market, operated by highly qualified personnel. Our staff is trained to current standards and we are committed to providing ongoing education and training in the latest procedures and techniques in order to ensure we provide the best care in the laboratory industry. We strictly adhere to quality control procedures and regularly participate in national supervising proficiency testing programs, assisted by AAB (American Association of Bioanalysts), CAP (College of American Pathologist), and CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment).
